Are the jacks steel or aluminum?

3 ton is steel - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Big-Red-3-To ... ifications (i don't think my pedestal is as tall as shown in the picture, but it definitely has a tall lift)

2 ton is also steel - http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive ... 69306.html (this isn't the exact item, but its almost identical, probably a white-box equivalent)
