FS 1992 Subaru Loyale $500

Post by snaab »

A coworker just mentioned he is selling his Loyale! I don't have photos yet, as it is not here today.
2WD only!
135,000 miles
Manual
Needs one rear tire (separating)
Needs both rear shocks

AC works fine, everything else ok too.
He only wants $500 as that's what he paid for it.

If anyone is interested, I will forward your contact info to him!

^^^ EXACTLY what I was thinking. If someone has a place to store it and wants to do Lemons, I'll contribute $$$ and blood.

When is the next LeMons? We could store it at my house, even off the road, if we were going to do planned non-operation

I'm struggling with the idea just to buy the car for myself, to have something that I can park in the city and not worry about.

I will happily contribute funds.
We only need 5 people with $100 each, or 10 @ $50, or 6.666 @ $75.
Now if we could just find that .666 member. Where is Satan when you need him.
Although you just know he's gonna stiff you on the $75.

Don't forget to account for rear shocks. Not expensive, but an expense regardless.

I'd say offer $200, with a $300 finding fee, lol.

Next Lemons is in a couple of weeks at Summit (Hyperfest), so this would need to be for the one after that probably.

He had told me he is firm on the $500. I'd say the car is worth it.

You no understand!

You pay him $200 (with invoice for this much), then you pay him a $300 finders fee so the total is $500.... this "gives" you, according to LeMons law, $300 for stuff besides safety and trades ;)

fixed that for ya. for srs. 8)

one of my favorite suby stories revolves around my grandpa. he had a wagon version (spare mounted on top of the motor!) that he loved. at around 120k, he added some slick50 treatment, at which point it picked up some noticeable power.

I think a 95/96ish Impreza with a 2.2 is THE car to have for LeMons!

Not enough metal around you. Chubby would have been perfect.
