I'm sorry, I guess that is rather rude of me. I am just in somewhat of a hurry to getthe car checked out...

I think the current response from the group is that no-one is car shopping right now and Carfax isn't running any free deals at present. Of course Colin or Ben could make a liar of me....

I bought an unlimited 1-month carfax account roughly a week ago.
Should still be able to look up a car for the next 2 weeks or so. (I *think*)
edit : Not at home, though. I could check on it sometime tonight.
Does dcawd or carfax have a policy about this? I haven't been on here long enough to know if anyone would be upset if I posted the results on here.

Technically I shouldn't post the report word-for-word. (OR derivative works... so I can't paraphrase it either)
So, post the vin, and I'll check on it later and just tell you if you should be worried or not.
If it's not clean, though, it'll be up to you if you wanna pay for the details.
(I wouldn't care if it were in person, but online I don't want to implicate dcawd in any shenanigans if carfax has a cow for posting their reports online).
