anybody install one? the mechanical boost is going to be easy, but I've never installed an electric Oil Pressure gauge. I've been looking online in between working, but so far I haven't run across any good write-ups.
I hope to have my gauges and pod by the end of the week for a weekend install.

Re: installing electric Oil Pressure gauge
yes, i have done 4 now. all defi, all in the oil gally plug on the passenger side bank right under the recirculation tube where it meets the turbo inlet tube. You will need an 8mm allen socket, and some crows feet to install it (and whatever adapters for the sensor).Mr Kleen wrote:anybody install one? the mechanical boost is going to be easy, but I've never installed an electric Oil Pressure gauge. all you do is pull the galley plug and install the sensor. Treading the sensor is always a bitch simply because its so far down on the block.
The other way to do it is with a sandwich adapter. This will move the oil filter down almost an inch. that is a simple screw on operation during an oil change.
if you want more detailed instructions let me know.
