I got two runs Friday night. First pass was pretty clean, but conservative. I just wanted to make sure I made all my shifts. These passes were both on the pump + meth tune. We had to install a new clutch Friday to be able to make this track night happen. I was able to get about 140 miles on the clutch before the passes.
1st pass
60 ft 1.693
330 4.843
1/8th 7.375@95.82
1000 9.542
1/4 11.370@124.34
2nd pass I bogged the launch, but was flat foot shifting and I also stayed in 4th through the traps instead of shifting into 5th like the first run.
60 ft 1.771
330 5.063
1/8th 7.613@96.57
1000 9.774
1/4 11.579@125.54

Wow! You're launches and 60fts are looking great!
So... Are you itching for 10's now?
(might have to get new plates...haha)

Two very consistent runs. The .2 second difference at the 1/8 from the first to the second translated into .2 difference at the finish, even though the speeds on the 2nd run were higher.TAPOUT wrote: 1st pass

What clutch did you install and how did it feel at the track? I'm certain Julian would be interested in knowing.

Re: Does anyone run Alky or meth from their factory I/C sprayer
We went to an ACT 6 puck with stock flywheel. It felt really good on the first run, but I bogged the second launch. On the first run I just wanted a clean run, on the second I was flat foot shifting, and nailed everything except the launch. I actually dropped to about 3500 RPM in first, then made up some time through the rest of the run. I had more MPH by the 1/8th on the 2nd run. It was also rally hot. The temps on the timeslip show 114*. I can't wait to run on a nice cool night. I think 11.0 or maybe 10.9 is possible on meth, and I am going to shoot for a mid 10 on the C16.
I think 600 to the wheels ought to do it...

VERY impressive 60ft times. I don't think I've seen anyone faster than a 1.6 (but you could be the first!).
Knowing how the 6pucks grab, how's the tranny holding up? Are you dumping or trying to slip it? I just replaced my ClutchMasters Stg 4 6 puck. It's actually the same clutch, only with a kevlar disk now

Good strong run. I couldn't tell if the Mustang jumped the light or if your reaction time was off.
Very enjoyable watching you leave him in your wake. I also love the commentary.
In any case, NICE RUN!
Was this on race gas with alky injection or just pump.

This was pump with meth. I am still trying to slip the clutch a bit. I'm hoping to run 1.5 60 ft's when I put some real tires on the car. I ran these with a 225/50/17 Ventus All Season tire.
